Fern Bay Motel

The room offered a modern, clean aesthetic with ample amenities, but I found the compact space somewhat limiting.

Got family room with fridge and kettle plus comfortable bed as expected. The location was peaceful - within a walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. There was a convenient restaurant, the main shopping centre and supermarkets next door.

The restaurant was SMALL for dinner and breakfast, we ordered excellent dishes.

The stay was grand, especially with the comfy bed and the lovely staff. I enjoyed the clean, basic room with all the essentials. But, oh, it was a bit chilly with the a/c not really warming the place. A good spot for a night, though!

Nice hotel, it has efficient service and handy location close to Newcastle airport. The rooms are beautifully presented and brand-new with central heating, multi-channel TV and a microwave. Venue provides tasty meals...

Spacious, clean rooms provide a comfortable stay. Convenient delivery of breakfast to the room was a nice touch.

Dining options within walking distance are severely lacking, and the inability to order simple food like toasties during a busy service was frustrating. On top of that, face washers weren't provided unless requested.

The rooms are large and have been renovated well.

I was disappointed with the lack of cutlery in the kitchenette. Shouldn't a fully equipped kitchenette come with basic utensils? It was inconvenient to have to request everything from reception, especially during my busy mornings. With no breakfast available, it left me scrambling for food options, which wasn't ideal.

The comfy beds were great, but the air con leaked on the carpet.

Our family enjoyed the spacious family room which was perfect for us with kids. The kids loved the on-site BBQ area surrounded by gardens, and we appreciated the convenient location close to nearby dining options. The staff were great to our needs.

This motel offers spacious rooms with a comfortable king-sized bed. The location is perfect, just a short drive from Newcastle. The staff were attentive and provided timely breakfast options that were good and plentiful. Noise from the commercial water heaters disrupted our sleep at times, starting up throughout the night. The kitchen lacked basic utensils, inconvenient. While the room comfort and cleanliness stood out, improvements in noise management and kitchen supplies would enhance the experience.

The staff were great. Breakfast options provided were tasty and timely. The king-sized bed offered excellent comfort, and I especially appreciated the garden view that added a lovely touch to my stay.

The stay featured a modern, comfortable Twin Room, impressively clean and fresh. A highlight was the undercover BBQ kitchen area, perfect for a relaxed evening, though the absence of restaurant dining options was a downside. A significant inconvenience was navigating the many stairs. A request for fewer stairs went unheeded. It satisfies a traveler's needs for a brief, comfortable stop near the airport but could improve in accessibility.

Great tv and convenient free parking. Wi-Fi was spotty at times.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Location was close to the Williamtown airport for an early flight. The breakfast was solid with good portions.
